Hai English Graduate

“Everything happens for a reason. Nothing occurs by chance. It’s all part of God’s plan.” Last April 2022, I was busy browsing my facebook wall when I first saw Hai English Training and Assessment Center. Nag-browse ako sa page nila and nakita ko na nag-ooffer sila ng mga courses na para saakin, makakatulong for my future endeavor.

Good thing, their facebook page is very responsive. Napakarami kong questions that time pero lahat yun, nasagot nila nang maayos at malinaw. So I made the decision to enroll.

After almost 2 weeks, I finished all my courses. It was not easy. Kailangan kong pagsabayin ang work at ang pag- aaral. It really challenged me to be more organize and to manage my time more wisely. I really took each course seriously. Sabi nga nila, pag pinaghihirapan mo ang isang bagay, mas maapreciate mo sya pag nakuha mo na. And Voila! Got my certificates!

To cut the long story short, April 29, 2022, pumunta ako sa Thailand and got a teaching job.

The good news is my employer gave me a higher rate because I am a certified TEFL, TESOL, TESL, TEYL, and Basic English 1 and 2 certificate holder. Dun ko napatunayan na napakahalaga talaga na meron ka ng mga certificates na to. Kaya para sa mga nagtatanong at hesitant mag-enrol, grab this opportunity!

The certificates that I earned from Hai English verify my legitimacy and competence to perform my job in the teaching industry especially when you are in another country.

Making the effort to continue to grow your knowledge and skills can allow you to remain ahead of others in your field in terms of both expertise and efficiency. Hats off to Hai English Training and Assessment Center for giving people like me the opportunity to improve our professional credibility. Thank you so much for this opportunity, Ma’am Abigail. I wish you and Hai English Training and Assessment Center the very best going forward!

FROM PINAS TO UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

“For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a good future”.

This bible verse keeps me dreaming and praying.

It’s me Marvelous. God indeed shaped my journey. I was once a child who dreamt to be traveling to different countries specially getting to the United States. It was just a dream But I marked it with late night and dawn time prayers. God is never blind and deaf. He listens and answers every prayer of mine in detail.

To give you a preview of my journey, let me share this to you. I was once a teacher in the Philippines and I am grateful to be working with the Department of Education for 5 years since 2018. Many people shaped me to be a better person each day. Moving forward, during pandemic, due to work from home schedules, I decided to enroll myself to English classes. Hai English is a blessing to me despites of the chaos at that moment. Ms. Abigail supported me in every information I need and gained my certificates. It was really not my goal to use it this far but to just learn more and spend my time in studying English language. Time runs so fast and got an opportunity to start my application process last 2022 October from getting my passport, NBI clearance and many more. At first, I can’t believe that I am really starting my journey to the next level but I remembered how God told the people in Isaiah 60:22 that “when the time right, I the Lord will make it happen”. Until my documents got completed. Unfortunately, just on the last week of the same month, natural disaster happened and we were one of those “flood victims” caused by a strong typhoon. It happened that I saved my computer and laptop but forgot to grab my ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS which I will use to apply job already. So yes, everything went back to “0”. At that moment, I thought, everything was over. Then, after how many days, God made me realized that He made me turn to “0” to prove me something that there is always a “+1” equals to EVERYTHING despites what chaos I am facing. Then, I lay down everything to Him again and stayed on track. I told Him, “Lord, if not this year, make it next year because I am totally not ready”.

No one can ever measure His thoughts. I tend to forget my application for the meantime and focus on settling myself and my family back to normal again. Just on December 2022, God provided a way again to put my foot back to His goals for my life. I received a blessing again which keeps me on track to process my documents again. Then I applied and filled out my application to a visa sponsor until the process keeps progressing. I already accepted that I will have a progress the next year. Just last January 2023, I received many interviews from the visa sponsor, on pre-screening, Teacher Qualification Interview and many more. The whole January, I only received “YES and you will move to the next process”. But the first thing I did is I said “Yes” to God, telling Him that I am ready not for the job but for His Will in my life. And things happen smoothly.

Then, February came and everything went so quiet I was so shocked Until March came up, the same thing but I got approved from my previous screening last 13th March. Then right on the 24th, I was one of those who were chosen to have an interview from the Job fair which the United States open for International Teachers. I waited till April 5, that’s the day of my interview with the District Personnel Around, 9:40pm to 11:30pm, I felt so nervous but managed to answer questions. It was really a lovely and fun interview. When God sets an environment, He sets it perfectly without flaws. Until the interview was over. I really told God, “This is it Lord”. Then right around 2:00am, I received an email saying, “You received a job offer”. It was so fast like I really had a hard time to absorb and breathe but I run to my parents’ room and woke up my mom and told her, “I’m in!” It was really so impossible for anyone but God stood and made things possible for me. God will never put anyone in shame as long as you believe that He can do it for you. Stay in Faith!

Time flies, I waited until 3rd of May again and I received my job contract. God sets a waiting time too. He sees who stays and keeps holding on to His promises no matter how the situation may be so silent and slow in progress. Until June 5th came. We traveled to Manila and stayed there for 5 days for my visa interview on 7th. I was with my mama and papa. So grateful to have them throughout the process.

Just on the same day, my visa approved! I don’t know what to feel but I just looked up above and uttered some words “Lord, you have never failed me, not even once”. So, we enjoyed the rest of the days roaming around Manila.

June 9th is the day of going back to my city and it’s my brother’s graduation day as well (I am the eldest and he is the next one).

Just a memory flashed back when I told God that I want to go to US right after 2 years from his graduation. Then I realized, I should never limit God in anything He will do to my life. So I got my VISA APPROVED and my brother’s graduation which is really a BIG SUCCESS to my parents. Nothing was easy, waiting causes pain but anyways, God paid it all Just this August 15th, it was the day of my flight to US. And I am here for 2 months already.

Being here in US is so sacrificial. I left so many things behind: my family, my career, loved ones, life I am used to, my pets but with God’s help, I can say, “I am nothing without Him”.

To end this testimony, I just want to remind everyone, that everything is possible, believe, pray without ceasing, wait, set your commitment and focus your eyes to God. He will direct and redirect you. He will bless everything you will be doing in life.

Blessings

  3. Now that I have IQA Level 7 and English Proficiency Result (PTE) I Signed Up for ESL (Education Sector Logon) and submitted all the requirements to Hapori Matatu (Ministry of Education)
  4. Now that I have my Provisional Practicing Certificate (Philippine PRC Teacher’s License counterpart), I applied to job posts in Education Gazette NZ (online)

Note: Nakakahopeless na more than a hundred applications, isa lang nagpaunlak ng interview and with GOD’s grace, got hired

Everything is possible with persistence and FAITH!

Note: Before you apply to a school, check if they are accredited. You can check it online via New Zealand Immigration portal.

  1. My school applied for my visa and I do my part too. Got some issues with my medical and took me 3 months before I got cleared and received my visa.

Suggestion: Get a pre-med first before you get the actual medical so you will know the best next step/s.

  1. With AEWV (Accredited Employer Work Visa) you can now start your POEA application to get your OEC through DMW (Department of Migrant Worker) online.
  2. With your OEC secured and visa, book your flight ticket to NZ! Be sure you have a driver’s license because you are probably going to drive on your own when you arrive.

Opo. Mahaba ang proseso pero POSIBLE!

I made it here with the help of many people and through a lot of prayers.

Inabot po ako ng one year mula sa pagpapa assess ng qualifications hanggang makarating sa NZ. Kaya it will take time. Patience is a virtue!

Note: Hindi po ako recruiter. Just want to share my journey to inspire and help other teachers too as my way of returning the favor and love. Maaring maiba ang costs and process as these might change over time.

Maraming salamat po and pagpalain po tayo lagi mg ating Ama sa Langit!

Slowly but surely. One step at a time. You’ll get there, trust the process. – I still remember the exact words I used to tell myself every time I get overly confused but excited. The year 2023 is full of surprises it’s coming to an end soon but the best is yet to come, it’s amazing how I can still recall the days I prayed for the things I have now. I have been here for six months now. The journey is never easy, and it is fair to say that we all experience phases of resilience, rejection, receiving and redemption. I guess all we need to understand is every season has a reason and that is why I am exactly where I need to be at this moment – in the Kingdom of Thailand “The Land of Smile”. Leaving the comfort of my country to pursue unpredictable and exciting possibilities makes me achieve a more grateful and stronger version of myself. I would just like to take this opportunity to thank Hai English  Training and Assessment Center and to Ma’am Abigail Estanislao for being instrumental in making me reach this far. Thank you so much! khoob-khun ka

Success is being confident in yourself and throwing any thought of failure aside. And when things don’t go the way you planned it’s overcoming those obstacles and persevering toward your goal. Thank you Hai English for the opportunity to be part of your training center and thank God for the answered prayer. Thank you also to my aunties for the support and I will endure the hardship you have given me. Hindi madali mag abroad pero lalakasan ko ang loob ko at lagi ako magdadasal because nothing is impossible with God.

It all started with a dream. A dream that I thought I couldn’t reach, not until I decided to push this dream of mine to be able to teach in Thailand, even though it was difficult and there were many trials that I went through just to reach the success that I have now.

I am indeed grateful to Hai English Training and Assessment program because you have helped me to increase my knowledge as a teacher.

For those who dream of teaching abroad but are afraid and hesitant to try, this may be your chance to do the things you really want because we won’t know if that dream is meant for us if we don’t take a risk. And of course, we should always ask for help and guidance to our omnipotent God.

The journey was undeniably challenging, but the culmination of efforts has made every hurdle worthwhile in the end.

Xin chào! Today marks my one year and one-month anniversary here in Vietnam. Fortunately, I’ve successfully acquired a work permit and a temporary residence card, ensuring that I can work legally in the country. Working in a legitimate school has significantly eased my journey, allowing me to work seamlessly and find joy in teaching my students. Thanks to these factors, everything is running smoothly.

I want to convey my heartfelt gratitude to Hai English Training, especially to Ma’am Abigail, for providing me with legitimate certificates. These credentials are especially advantageous for educators involved in teaching English as a second language.

Here’s a tip for aspiring teachers planning to teach in Vietnam: Ensure you complete all the necessary requirements while you’re still in the Philippines to avoid complications when you start working abroad. Additionally, always research the companies you’re applying to in order to avoid potential scams.

Grateful for the journey so far and looking forward to continued growth and success.

I hope this short message will inspire everyone who reads it. First of all, I would like to thank Hai English Training for providing a solid foundation for English communication. This has been a great help to me as I continue my teaching career. These credentials are very useful for teachers who teach English as a second language.

In addition, I was lucky enough to start my career here in Thailand at the age of 23. I believe When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen. Isaiah 60:22.

PS. Always believe in yourself and I know. YOU! yes YOU! the one who read this, YOU can do it more than me.

God knew everything that I have gone through this year and all the tears I cried in prayer. On this last month of 2022, I received the best gift: a plot twist for wrapping up what happened this year. Finally, I’ve come to an end. With determination and hard work, I was able to get it done. And yes, I am fully prepared to face the next challenge of putting into practice all that I have been taught. Thank you Hai English Training and Assessment Center for all the assistance and guidance in achieving this landmark in my career. God is so faithful and good and I really have been able to see the fruit of His promises this past season and He has taught me how to choose joy and persevere in the tough seasons. Thank you Lord for another feather in my cap! 🙏🏻🤍

WHAT A JOURNEY IT HAS BEEN! If I were to give a song title from a famous singer about my experience in studying ESL, it would be Barry Manilow’s ‘I Made It Through The Rain’. This journey was not an easy thing. Thunders and other barriers roared along my way as I headed off to the war.

The path was quite long and rough. It was the most hellacious one I ever had, so far, but it was worth every sweat and tear. I even thought it was impossible, but of course, God proved me wrong. So I would like to offer my endless gratitude to God for His myriad blessings despite my shortcomings. Never underestimate His design for your life. You will be tried several times, but it doesn’t mean He wants to see you give up and fail. He only wants you to develop patience and humility. I learned it the hard way, but it’s the best way.

In the beginning, I already knew that I won’t be walking in solitude. Thanks to the people who served as my weapons in facing the challenges. You know who you are. From enrollment to graduation, you were with me, you never left me, and you believed in me. Thank you!

Surprise! Glory to God! I’m a graduate once again! I brought home these hard-earned certificates and medals of completion, along with commemorative plaques, from an institution that is duly accredited by the European Centre of Independent Certification in E-Learning (ECICEL).

All these embody my deep awareness of my purpose, as well as my special talent: producing output amidst adversity.

Time and again, studying has been keeping my mental health intact because I have always considered it a therapy and an act of self-care. Had I not engaged in meaningful learning activities, I would have suffered from nervous breakdown due to several ordeals that happened just recently, including the nerve-racking surgeries that 4 of my fur-babies underwent last month, and my baby Eve’s heartbreaking vision loss early this month.

In fact, I didn’t mind doing “exams marathon” between 1:00AM and 11:00PM last October 4,

in order to keep my psyche preoccupied! Thank God, I passed all 26 exams/quizzes in 1 take!

These new achievements have also been made possible through the able guidance of Director Abi and her “HAI-ly” [highly] responsive team, whose support has been ETC: encouraging, timely, & consistent!
I dedicate these 7 milestones to the following: -my beloved 16 fur-babies, and my one and only partner, -my dear students and clients, who are the direct recipients of my upgraded skills and renewed commitment to continue to be one of their credible sources of learning for 6 years now,
-my friends, who are still staying despite the long dead air from my end, in the process of achieving my goals, and
-my mother, who never stops praying for me to rise above every challenge that I face in life.

Finally, to everyone reading this, your current situation will not dictate your fate. By the GRACE of God, it is yours to create. So, ACTIVATE your FAITH and CREATE that FATE!

I’m grateful for the chance to study in Hai English because I was able to get a job instantly as soon as I passed and get my TEFL ,TESOL ,TESL and TEYL certificate.

It wasn’t easy to get a job as an English tutor since you have to pass the exam, grammar test and other else but I was thankful that out of hundred teachers or applicants there’s only maybe 4 applicants who passed and I was one of those . I used what I learned in Hai English and it’s really helpful since it helps me to gain more knowledge , improve my English language skills and arouse enthusiasm as an English tutor . I am currently an art teacher and English tutor.

Thank you Hai English and God bless!

Despite a lot of hindrances, always remember that education is the key to becoming successful in your life. There’s a time that I want to quit, but I always remember that this is the only treasure that my parents gave me, which is education. I always ask myself what I need to do to be productive. But there are a lot of questions that come to my mind.

I always encourage myself to believe in my abilities. I need to face my fears and focus on my goal. It’s difficult for me to balance work and study, but I know that my family and I will reap the benefits of my efforts. As a result, I never stop dreaming and working toward my professional goals of becoming globally competitive.

I think Hai English also helps me boost my confidence in my teaching career. I learned a lot of different strategies and techniques to become more equipped, not just in the Philippines but in the whole world.

Why would I be comfortable in mediocrity if I can stand firm in this competitive society?
Kudos to those WORKING STUDENTS who keep on striving to stay to the best of both worlds! I, myself experience how hard it is to manage working and studying at the same time. It really is a rough path to walk through, but the perseverance to step foot on the finish line makes us eager to continue.

It is almost 2 years when I left my teaching life, and promise myself to go back stronger. I enjoy working in a BPO company, because it leads me to use it as my advantage to have more time in pursuing these credentials unlike when I was practicing my profession, in which I was almost deprived of my personal life. It is never easy to achieve something. I actually deactivated all my socials for almost a month and a half just for me to stay enthralled.

I thought I would be just focused on my goal, but being inactive on socials gives me peace of mind as well. I so love my mental health as of the moment.

To those who still are thriving for their passion, you gonna be there! Your perfect time awaits!

Thank you Hai English Training and Assessment Center and Ms. Abigail Estanislao

It is my honor to share my story with my Hai English family. The Lord has been good to me and now I would like to bring Him back the glory by testifying His goodness I was a private school teacher for three years, and pandemic has made my life as a teacher really rocky that I decided to quit teaching in the middle of a school year. I pushed to continue ESL tutoring to Japanese working professionals after I left school, and at the same time entered live streaming . For 10 months, I get my salary from those two jobs, and along the way, I met good friends who are from Mexico. One took an English lesson from me and told me I’m really good in teaching. He submitted a letter of recommendation to the school and told me to apply, and so I did.

After that, as if heaven’s gift, I saw the advertisement from Hai English that they offer TESOL, TEFL, TESL, and TEYL Certifications.

I checked if they are legit. I was so happy because the fee is so affordable I enrolled right away. It felt like this is my turning point so I was encouraged to take all the 4 courses (TESOL, TEFL, and TESL) and I finished them all. I received my soft copies in my email then I ordered the hard copies.
The school in Mexico then invited me for an interview and I got hired on the spot. They asked if I have certifications like TEFL or TESOL and I was so proud when I showed them my Hai English Certificates and told me to get ready because I’m going there They helped me with my visa, they will shoulder the airfare and the housing as well .

I might not have the best experience in teaching in the Philippines but I will do my best with the new venture that’s coming for me. To my Hai English family, thank you for this opportunity to be certified, and be given the chance to work in my dream country Let this be an inspiration to all aspiring teachers in the PH and those who want to work abroad Trust the process It’s all worth it .

We all have disabilities; some noticeable, others hidden; some physical, others emotional or spiritual. Nina has been struggling with her inability to walk for as long as she could remember, but this did not hinder her from striving hard to equip herself with the education needed to become an ESL teacher.

Since no man is ever in full control of everything around him, there are times when we get side tracked, choose to pause, and attend to things more important than work. What matters is we get up, dust ourselves and move on with our lives, the best way we could, no matter how long it takes.

Nina has the full support of her family, and that’s what keeps her going. She’s very artistic and paints really well too.
