Hai English Training and Assessment Center caters mainly to the financially- challenged Filipinos who would like to seek better opportunities abroad. As part of the the requirements by the international employers, job applicants should submit a certification of their English level. However, most of the certifications are very expensive for any common person. Hence, we are here for them.
Instruction:
READING :
The reading section consist of questions that are specifically designed to test the reading skills of the test taker. It is imperative the main ideas of the paragraph are remember by the test taker. The reading material may also contain logical arguments as well as the writer’s attitude and purpose.
Task Type:
A variety of question types, including, but not limited to multiple choice, fill in the blanks, and true or false are used.
SPEAKING :
The test taker is given couple of questions which he/she/it should answer by recording his/her voice. Every questions should be answered at least 3 minutes long. The test taker should be aware of his pronunciation ad diction while answering as these will be taken into consideration for his/her grades.
WRITING :
The test taker will be asked to write something personal, or otherwise about any topic indicated. He/she/it is expected to be able to express his/her opinions or points of view on any given topic.
Timing: 60 minutes
Answering:
Answers must be typed on a given space. They should be in full sentences. Bullet points is not allowed. The answer should have at least 150 words. The writing should be in the first person or third person, depending on what questions call for. Answers should be relevant to the topic.
All answers shall be assessed by certified evaluators, taking into consideration the rules of the grammar and writing.
LISTENING :
You will listen to recordings and the write your answers to a series of questions. Evaluators will be looking for your ability to understand the context of the recorded materials as well as the main ideas. You have to listen carefully to the factual information as well as the opinions and attitudes of the speakers.
Answering:
Test takers write their answer after listening. Poor spelling and grammar mistakes shall have minus points.
NOTE :
The time limit of taking the exam is 3 hours. It will automatically submit if you’ve reached the time limit.
